Improvised Bridge, Moggill, 1937

This bridge was 158 yards long and built by 16 members of the 7th Field Company, Royal Australian Engineers (Reserves) in exactly one hour. This was the longest improvised bridge ever launched in Australia and is a record held by the 7th Field Company, of whom Ron Freiberg, of Ipswich, was a member
