I was wandering around lake Manchester and came upon this fig. It sits atop a dead and limbless bluegum, a natural bonsai.This was just a detail shot; I shall have to return with a friends 11-16 Tokina to do the whole dead tree and fig justice. Due to other foliage and angles my 18-200 was not wide enough to do the job.As a side note, I did something unusual here, soft-focussed on purpose. Not a lot, but just enough to give that slight glow that it actually had on the day (from sunset+haze).
