Moggill Girl Guides are planting a Centenary Tree to celebrate 100 years of Girl Guiding!!
WHERE? Moggill Girl Guide Hut, Birkin Road, Bellbowrie
WHEN? Sunday, 1st August; 11.00am to 2.00pm
WHAT? Official Tree Planting and unveiling new Hut signage
WHAT ELSE? Sausage sizzle, BBQ burgers, Devonshire Teas, Wishing Well, Face Painting, Crafts and fun Games and Activities for children
AND..? A display of Guiding Memorabilia from 1910 to 2010
ALSO.. A fashion show at midday, of past Guide Uniforms
WHO? All families from the community- everyone welcome!!! Especially Guides, past Guides & former Guide Leaders - tell your friends!

Moggill Girl Guide Leaders Me? Be a Girl Guide Leader? Yes! YOU!..... Why? ........Because isn't it time you tuned up your sense of fun? Because.....Health Authorities say adults don't play enough and don't laugh enough. If you are a Guide Leader - playing is compulsory! Because.....Unit Meetings can be the ultimate re-charge - the Guides' enthusiasm (and energy) is infectious! Because.....Leaders help make it happen. Leaders are....caring, enthusiastic volunteer women who enjoy having fun, sharing a laugh and working with young people. You should be aged between 18 and 108 and be willing to donate 3 or 4 hours a week. Come and join Moggill's Leading Ladies!!! Guides have fun!
They challenge themselves, learn many skills and try outdoor adventurous activities in a safe and challenging environment. There are lots of indoor activities as well - no two meetings are ever the same.
Membership is open to girls from 5-18 years and women.
Junior Guides meet on Wednesdays 5-7pm.
