Bellbowrie Mobile Library THURSDAYS 9am-
The Bellbowrie Mobile Library is operating every Thursday in the carpark of
the Bellbowrie shopping centre.
There are two very helpful librarians who can order in anything you need for
the next week (subject to availability). It has DVDs, a children's section
etc. So please give it a whirl!

Christmas Pantomime: Billy and Santa
Join Santa at the new Kenmore Library as he introduces Billy the Bookworm! Billy is a cute, green, funny and happy little worm who loves to visit the library. Join Billy on his hilarious adventures, as he plays tricks on Santa and hides inside the books. Will we ever find cheeky Billy? Christmas magic, fun and story telling ideal for children of all ages.

Cartoon Monsters Workshop
Learn to create fun cartoon monsters with Comic Express studio at Kenmore Library. You will have the chance to design your very own cartoon monsters using shapes as well as creating a profile for your character. Ideal for children aged 8-14 years. Pantomime: Freddy Frills and friends to the rescue!
Join a lizard called Freddy Frills and his endangered friend Bilby Bob at Kenmore Library. Together, they go on an adventure to protect and sustain the environment through cleaning, planning and recycling.Ventriloquist Daniel Anderson and his Australian puppet characters will sing and have fun as they learn about sustainability, whilst showing children how to make their own puppets with recycled items. From Marionettes to hand puppets, these personalities will entertain adults and children alike. Ideal for children of all ages.

RSPCA Wildlife Crusaders workshop
This fun and interactive holiday workshop at Kenmore Library explores the beauty of local wildlife and how people can live in harmony with the animals that share our world. Beginning with the heart-warming story of Wally the wombat, students will learn about threats to wildlife and how humans and animals have similar needs.Participants will then use what they have learnt to create a perfect world mural for display in their local library. Participants will also be provided with a lasting reminder of their role as a wildlife crusader to take home with them. Author talk: meet Lucia Masciullo
Lucia is artist, painter and illustrator of children's books. Born and bred in Livorno, Tuscany, Lucia moved to Brisbane in 2006. With her, Lucia brings an Italian influence and cultural perspective to her work here in Australia. Lucia's refreshing use of colour and bold illustrative style has been reflected in the success of several children's books, including Family Forest and The Boy and the Toy.
