MacDonald's Bellbowrie

We choose to live in Bellbowrie because of it's country appeal and the fact that it was unblemished by corporate giants like MacDonald's.  The shopping centre has a wide variety of eateries, all small family businesses well supported by the people of Bellbowrie. In my view, a MacDonald's will bring noise, traffic at an already difficult intersection, litter and become a place for the younger generation to gather & race cars.  Not only will this have a direct negative impact on the community as a whole, but the small family businesses mentioned above will suffer also. MacDonald's is a world wide monster - and in my view will add nothing positive to the community of Bellbowrie, residential or business. DO NOT APPROVE PLANNING PERMISSION FOR A MACDONALD'S AT BELLBOWRIE! Regards John & Lorna McDonaghKerria StBellbowrieQLD4070

MacDonalds Bellbowrie My childrens grandparents live in Bellbowrie. I think that it is time to face up to progress. People especially old people cannot be expected to travel long distances eg to Kenmore or Riverlink for services eg Mcdonalds or a Tavern. The cost of petrol is also high. As for the intersection it is already very busy and if it is not a Macdonalds then it will be something else. I am all for a family orientated eatery like McDonalds or even a tavern would be much better. If we accept McDonalds then other services will follow.

Sorry, I am into junk food occasionally. I would like to have one near, so I don't have to travel to Kenmore. In my opinion it's not worse than Chicken Time.
