Firetruck in flood May 2009 Moggill Rd. Pullenvale

Firetruck stuck in the flood at the Brookfield Nursery on Moggill Road in the May 2009 flood. The road was blocked for three hours until the water subsided.
If you have pictures of the flood in the local area, please upload them to Nnub, or upload to Flickr and tag with "Moggill" and they will appear on the Moggill Nnub. We would like to collect comprehensive set of images of the flood locally.
Or call Margot 3202 9149 if you would like assistance uploading.

Firetruck stuck in floodwaters at the Brookfield Nursery on Moggill Rd. in Pullenvale, May 2009. Two firetrucks came through but the third got stuck. It took three hours for floodwaters to recede before the truck was towed away.

Does anyone have any updates on the status of this point in the road and the houses just along from here? Will it flood again this time?

FASHION SWAP - Bellbowrie Moggill Sunday August 2nd

Hi Ladies
Get into the spring cleaning of your wardrobe early this year, and come and have some fun on Sunday 2 August for a good cause. The attached Flyer has most of the details, but please let me know if you have any questions.
I have some things that I don't think I would be able to put a value on, but someone may like them, so I will put them on a 'help yourself' table. You are all welcome to do this too. Any items left at the end of the afternoon will go to St Vincent De Paul and/or Lifeline.
If anyone has a complimentary business and would like to set up a table on the day, please get in touch.
Cheers
Sonya
