Is your website achieving what you expected?

While I don't much like self-promotion on this board, I'd like to let other residents know that you have a skillset in the Bellbowrie/Moggill area that is still quite rare, and invite you to contact me if you think my skills could be of any assistance to you.

Do you have a business website that is not getting the results you expected? I can help.

I am an Online Customer Insights Specialist. It's my full time profession, but I also help some businesses out of hours on a consultancy basis as most small and medium businesses cannot afford to have this kind of skillset in-house. And it's hard to find in Yellow Pages!

Customer Insights is the art of understanding what your customers are wanting to achieve through your website, designing ways to measure and track their activities and how well they achieve their goals within your website, designing "activity funnels" that guide your customers to their goals (in one visit, or over time), crafting online surveys and measurement tools to find out what your customers think about your website, how they want to use it, and even designing and running offline surveys to understand what it would take to get more of your target market to become regular customers of your website.

These techniques work for websites of all sizes and in all markets. They can make a huge difference to the return on investment you achieve from your online business activity.

I also do a lot of work around search engine optimisation (the real thing, not the voodoo that you get offered in spam emails) and can help you to get more potential customers to your website, including using Google Places to win local business.

Risk and Compliance Consultant seeking project work

My name is Sarah Taylor and I am a Risk and Compliance consultant who has recently relocated to Moggill. 

I am looking for project opportunities to assist businesses in the western suburbs to design and implement (or improve existing) compliance and risk frameworks. 

I have broad risk management and compliance experience, predominantly in financial services. I have both assessed and priced risk (as an underwriter) and developed risk management and compliance strategies and processes that effectively identify, evaluate, mitigate, monitor, report and manage risk. 

My responsibilities have included undertaking strategic risk assessments and risk profiling, identification of alternative methods of risk transfer/protection, developing compliance programs and reporting processes and assessing and reporting compliance with legislative and regulatory risk management requirements, undertaking assurance audits, and managing the placement of a company's own insurance and reinsurance programmes.

I have worked with a number of high profile organisations, including Suncorp, QBE, Youi, Mincom, and most recently with the QLD Law Society. 

I am outcome oriented and am confident that my broad based experiences, lateral thinking abilities and unwavering focus on business process improvement enable me to efficiently plan, organise, and implement effective action and result delivery within the risk and compliance framework.
