PUPPY ALERT: Puppy Carers Required for Assistance Dogs Australia

Looking at getting a new puppy but don’t want to

commit to 15 years?

Call us now and help to raise, train and socialise a puppy to provide greater independence to someone with a physical disability. Puppy carers required in Brisbane's Western Suburbs including Moggil, Bellbowrie and surrounds. 

  • Raise a gorgeous Labrador or Golden Retriever puppy in your home for 12 months
  • Puppy Sitting positions available for those who want a shorter term commitment, 2 days up to 4 weeks
  • Holidays? No worries, another committed volunteer will look after the pup
  • Suitable for people who are retired, work part time or are at home most of the time
  • Enjoy being involved in a group of volunteers and learn dog training skills

Whistle Recall - Dog Training Course

5 week dog training course for teaching your dog to come when called - the corse will be held at various locations around Bellbowrie to help dogs generalise coming when called in different places and under different levels of distraction. 

Course cost is $145 ($20 off for early bird registration and payment). 

Once you are signed up you will receive you pre-course homework Registrations need to made by 19th Nov 2011 for the course to begin on the 26th at 10am (finishes 11am).  Class size is limited to 4 dogs.

EOI - Stop your dog pulling - Loose Lead Walking Workshop in Moggill

Doggy Dogma are looking at holding a workshop in the Moggill area in the new year, focusing on loose lead walking.

If you want to know how to stop your dog pulling on the lead, and would be interested in attending, please email us to let us know: info@doggydogma.com.au

Fee would be around $20 per person and we would be looking for 1 or 2 dog voulenteers to demonstrate with on the day (dogs would need to be assessed for suitability first).
