BCA AGM 7pm 7/12/11 ~ A Message From Councillor Margaret De Wit

"To BCA members,First I must apologise that I am not able to attend the AGM - it is important if the Association is to succeed. It has been an eventful year in so many ways and the BCA has been there to support those needing help - cleaning out buildings after the flood - organising the thank you event on Australia Day and then the mammoth job of organising the highly successful Flood Recovery Family Day in June.  I have done many of these over the years and know just how much work it is for just a few to deal with.I would hope the June event was just the first of ..."

In Support Of The Bellbowrie Community Association - Councillor Margaret De Wit

"I write in relation to the recent attack on the Bellbowrie Community Association and its President.  I have been the Councillor for the Pullenvale Ward  for 14+ years and in that time I have seen a number of community-driven organisations make significant contributions to this area.  I recall urging the formation of the Moggill Community Association which proved invaluable when the Goodna Bypass proposal arose some years ago.  The community rallying which culminated in the massive meeting on the school oval left everyone in no doubt that this proposal was not acceptable to..."
